Come to a Be SMART presentation at River Valley’s Moms Demand Action March meeting on Sunday, March 8, 6:30 pm at the Spring Green Community Library. Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America launched the Be SMART campaign to take action to prevent child access to guns. The campaign focuses on the importance of conversation, responsible gun storage, and community awareness. The presentation takes about twenty minutes and it’s non political, focusing on common sense steps we can all take to reduce gun injuries and deaths among children. We’ll follow the presentation with an update on Advocacy Day and a report on our film screening scheduled for April 19th (a week later than normal because of Easter.) Refreshments and conversation will wind up the evening. Come and meet your neighbors who care about gun sense in America. Questions? Please reach out to me or to Jennifer Snow at BandDFrank@frontier.com or Jenn.snow74@gmail.com or visit besmartforkids.org.
