Stargazer extraordinaire John Heasley will help us learn what we can see in the sky with our eyes, binoculars, or new Galileoscope. Sunset is after 7:30pm, but we will be able to have a look at the almost First Quarter Moon in the daylight sky.
This program is possible thanks to a $5,000 grant from the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium to help make 2019 the Year of Space at the library!
The Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium is a member institution of the national network of Space Grant Consortia funded by NASA’s National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program. Congress established the program in 1988 to contribute to the nation’s scientific enterprise by funding research, education, and public service projects through a national network of 52 university-based Space Grant consortia.
