Do you have an idea for an arts or culture workshop, project or event that needs funding? The Spring Green Area Arts Coalition and the Sauk County UW-Extension, Arts, and Culture Committee want to help you bring that project proposal to one of their organizations. Register for Write a Grant Tonight! The writing lab will take place on Thursday, January 17th 2019, from 6:30 ? 8:30 p.m. upstairs at The Shed in Spring Green. Grant writers who know Arts Coalition and Sauk County grant application processes well will help you draft a narrative and budget for your project. Bring as many project participants as you would like, and your group will be paired with grant advisors for the evening. Draft a Creative Community Grant, Artistic Development Grant or a Eureka grant proposal for the Arts Coalition, or a Good Idea! Mini Grant or Arts, Humanities, and Historic Preservation Grant (AHHP) proposal for the Sauk County UW-Extension, Arts, and Culture Committee. Or bring your questions and applications for other grant programs. To learn more about Spring Green Area Arts Coalition grants, please visit http://www.springgreenarts.org. Register at https://goo.gl/forms/UWxWwpEMDusLeSsP2 You will receive information to help you prepare for the workshop. Participation is not a guarantee that you will receive a grant, nor are you required to attend the workshop to apply for a grant. Peer Review Panels review applications and make recommendations to each board for approval and funding. However, you will leave the workshop with a draft of a well-prepared proposal. Please note that the deadline for SGAAC Creative Community Grants and Artistic Development Grants is February 25th, so this is the perfect opportunity to get your questions answered and your grant well in hand before the deadline for the SGAAC grants.
